“Paddle Second Chance’s 2015 event will feature a 5.0 and a 2.5 mile long SUP race course. Following the main races, we will have a short Kid’s Fun Race and a Coed Team Race for SUPsquatch bragging rights. Whether this is your first race or you are a seasoned paddler, this is a great chance to come together for a wonderful cause and have a fun time on the water. The race takes place at Holts Landing State Park in Millville, DE on the beautiful Indian River Bay. This venue is ideal for SUP racing as the water depth is shallow (less than 4 feet) and is spectator friendly so make sure you bring your family and friends! The race will feature the following divisions and board classes.
- 5.0 mile course- 14′ Men
- 5.0 mile course-12’6″ Men
- 5.0 mile course- 12’6″ Women
- 2.5 mile course- Women and men
- Kids Fun Race- Under 15, girls and boys
- Coed Team Relay- Two women and two men
Prizes will be awarded to the top finisher in each division and board class. Award categories may change based on number of paddlers on race day.

A Coast Guard approved Personal Floatation Device (PFD) is required in order to participate in the Paddle Second Chance race. Participants 13 and over must have a PFD on board. MTI’s inflatable waist PFD are available for purchase at a 10% discount when you register online. You will be able to pick up your order on race day.”
