The East Of Maui crew is putting on the Chesapeake Standup Challenge this Saturday in Annapolis, MD.
This is one of the longer races locally so come out and challenge yourself. The course is in beautiful Downtown Annapolis and gives you the option to do a 7 mile long course and a 3.5 mile short course. While it may look easy it can be pretty tricky in spots!! The course is open to wind, boat waves, and waves bouncing off the rocks/walls (Washing machine) BUT this is what makes it so fun and Mark and Mark do a great job putting it 0n.
This will also be BOW round 4!! Can Everhart (Baltimore) catch Keane (OC) this time? Both have been training hard and getting faster every race..
It is still early so we are not 100% sure on who will be there, but here are some good MD battles to watch for in the long course:
Chris Norman (Annapolis) vs Brian Meyer (Annapolis)
Jeff Cook (Edgewater) vs Neil MaCindoe (Annapolis)
Chris Sperry (Annapolis) vs Shendan Grove (Annapolis)
Karen Apollony (Baltimore/OC) vs Kate Dowling (Annapolis).
