Baltimore City threw a HUGE celebration for the 200th anniversary of the War of 1812 and the penning of “The Star-Spangled Banner.” What better way is there to check out the tall ships that were docked in the harbor then on an SUP board.
On Saturday Nicole DeAngelo (Arnold) and James High (Balimore) went to explore the ships and snapped some great shots
On Sunday Jessie Benson (Baltimore) organized a big group paddle to go check them out as well. We do not have everyone’s names but it included the likes of Mark Bandy (Annapolis), Sarah Lewallen (Annapolis), Chris Sperry (Annapolis), Neil MaCindoe (Annapolis) to name a few. They even got a police escort from local Baltimore Paddler and police officer Brad Lewis, who happened to be working on the water Sunday AM!!
