The BOW Round 2 happened at the Fager’s Island Surf Swap in Ocean City last weekend. The BOW (Battle Of the Weathermen) is between Baltimore’s Wyatt Everhart and Delmarva’s Brian Keane. Keane won the first battle in DC and this was the second meeting.
The hype was peaking and they were both ready to race!!! Keane was talking trash and Everhart looked focused. They lined up right next to each other at the start (which was a water start), when the gun went off they both jumped up on their boards and got after it. Keane jumped on his board and fell right down in the turbulence; this allowed Wyatt to get off to an early lead. Keane though was able to pass him after the first turn and held that lead the rest of the day.
Wyatt was closer then he was in the first race and seems to be gaining some ground. Keane has the mental edge from what it seems like. He jokingly said he got in Wyatt’s head and the race was over before it started ha-ha. Great race guys and keep up the training… BOW round 3 is only a few weeks away
